Gully Slice & Grill is your local kebab house on Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully. We cook charcoal chicken fresh on the rotisserie every day, make shawarma kebab rolls to order, and serve loaded halal snack packs with your choice of chicken, lamb, or mixed meat.

We also do burgers, pizza, schnitzel, parma, and hot chips. Dine in, grab takeaway, or order through Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Charcoal Chicken

Whole, half, and quarter charcoal chicken cooked over open flame. Available with chips, rice, or as a meal deal. The rotisserie runs all day.

Shawarma Kebabs

Lamb, chicken, and mixed shawarma rolled in Lebanese bread with fresh salad, tomato, onion, and your choice of sauces. Falafel rolls also available.

Halal Snack Packs

HSP loaded with chips, your choice of meat, cheese, and sauces. Small, medium, and large sizes. Add gravy or extra cheese for $2.

Burgers

Classic beef and chicken burgers. Get them on their own or as a meal with chips and a drink

Pizza

Over 20 pizza options. Chicken, meat, and vegetarian. Medium from $13.99, large from $17.99. Family deals available.

Sides & More

Hot chips, potato cakes, dim sims, spring rolls, chicken nuggets, schnitzel, parma, garden salad, and almond kulfi for dessert.

We took over this shop on Burwood Highway because we saw a chance to do things properly. Fresh ingredients every day. Charcoal chicken cooked on a proper rotisserie, not sitting under heat lamps. Kebab meat shaved to order, not pre-cut and reheated. All our meat is halal certified. We serve everyone, and everyone gets the same quality. Large portions, fair prices, and food that tastes like it was made for you, not a production line.

I thought this was just a charcoal chicken shop, but once I got there, I was surprised to see they also sell kebabs, burgers, fried chicken, pizza, and so much more. There were so many options to choose from! This time we went with pizza and fried chicken, and both were amazing. The pizza was loaded with meat and cheese—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with nice big pieces that were totally worth it. We ordered the family deal with 2 large pizzas, garlic bread, a 1.25L drink, and 10 pieces of fried chicken. And I have to mention the chips, honestly some of the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt. The owner himself served us, and he was very friendly and welcoming. Great customer service and even better food. The charcoal chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside, with that classic smoky flavour you can only get from real charcoal grilling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take pride in what they serve. But the real surprise was the chips, crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. Honestly, some of the best chips I’ve had anywhere. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and quick, and the place was clean and welcoming. Great value for money too. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended if you love good charcoal chicken and perfectly cooked chips!
